The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) has issued a significant order regarding the promotion and posting of trained graduate/post-graduate teachers as Masters. This move aims to fill vacant positions and streamline the staffing arrangements in educational institutions across the region.
The order, numbered 33-DSEK of 2024 and dated 14-10-2024, comes as a follow-up to previous notifications and proposals issued by the Directorate. In particular, it references Office Order No. 267-DSEK of 2023, dated 17-10-2023, and Notification No. DSEV TS/Prom/Noti/3933, dated 30.12.2023.
According to the order, the Directorate had initially proposed the posting of 285 promotees to vacant Master positions. This proposal was open for suggestions and comments from concerned stakeholders, with feedback accepted via the official email of the Directorate, dsekjk@gmail.com, until 03rd January 2024.

After careful consideration of the suggestions and comments received, the Directorate has now finalized the posting of the 285 promoted Masters. The list of individuals promoted under Office Order No. 267-DSEK of 2023, dated 17-10-2023, forms Annexure-A to the current order.
However, before the implementation of this order, the Chief Education Officer/Drawing Disbursing Officer (concerned) is tasked with ensuring strict adherence to all terms and conditions laid down in the promotion order. Additionally, officials promoted to new positions are required to report to their new place of posting within 10 days from the issuance of this order.
