RRB ALP Eligibility Criteria 2024

To be eligible for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024, candidates must have a 10th class pass and an ITI from a recognized institute. Alternatively, a 10th pass with a three-year diploma in relevant engineering disciplines is also accepted. The age limit ranges from 18 to 30 years.

RRB ALP Educational Qualification 2024

Candidates seeking to apply for the post should be 10th class passed and hold ITI from a recognized institute of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio/TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and coil winder, Mechnical (Diesal), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.

OR

10th Passed with three Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics/Automobile Engineering or a combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized institution in lieu of ITI.

RRB ALP Selection Method 2024

The RRB ALP Selection Method 2024 involves five stages:

How to Submit RRB ALP Application Form 2024: Your Step-by-Step Guide

1. Visit the official website: Go to the RRB’s official website for the zone you wish to apply to.
2. Search for notification: Navigate to the “Recruitment” section and find the “RRB ALP Recruitment 2024” link.
3. Register/Login: Create an account or log in using existing credentials on the RRB online application portal.
4. Fill in the application form: Enter personal information, educational qualifications, and contact details as per the notification.
5. Upload documents: Submit scanned copies of required documents in the specified format and size.

RRB ALP Application Fee:

• Female/EBC/SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Transgender/Minorities: Rs. 250/-
• Other: Rs. 500/-

Candidates must ensure their registered mobile number and email ID remain active throughout the recruitment process.

Instructions for submission of online application.

1. Candidates must download detailed CEN No. 01/2024 and read it carefully.
2. Candidates must apply ‘ONLINE’ through the official websites of RRBs specified in the detailed CEN. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
3. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria for the post.
4. Candidates can apply to only one RRB and Only one application per candidate will be accepted for the notified post in this CEN. Applicants who submit more than one application against this CEN shall be disqualified and debarred.

EXAMINATION FEE: 

Candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee as per their community/category detailed below:

MODES OF FEE PAYMENT:

1. The fee can only be paid online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable from the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. There will be no option to pay fee through any other mode.
2. Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.

Mandatory Scanned Documents to be kept ready before filling the application:

1. Recent, clear colour passport size photograph (against a plain white background) of the candidate in JPEG image (size 30 to 70KB) – without wearing dark glasses and/or cap. Note: Candidates must have at least 12 (twelve) copies of the same photograph for future use during the recruitment process.
2. Scanned JPEG image of candidate’s signature in running handwriting (size 30 to 70KB)
3. SC /ST Certificate (only for candidates requesting free pass for train travel) in PDF format (upto 500KB).

• Candidates must have their own active mobile number and a valid personal Email ID for all communication during the entire duration of recruitment.
• After completing step I and step II, the candidate has to pay the requisite examination fee as mentioned in para 5.
• The confirmation page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the candidate. The registration number printed on the computer-generated Confirmation Page must be mentioned in all subsequent correspondence. It is therefore advised that the candidates must carefully note down the registration number printed on the conformation page.
• Confirmation SMS and Email will be received by the candidates after successful acceptance of application.
