CRPF has Invited online applications for 169 Constable Vacancies, The eligible candidates can apply for the advertised posts from 16th of January, 2024.
Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) for filling up 169 vacancies for the Non-Gazetted & Non-Ministerial posts of Constable (General Duty) in Group “C” on temporary basis (likely to be made permanent) in Central Reserve Police Force against SPORTS QUOTA as per
table at Para 2 below.
The posts have all India liability and selected candidates can be posted an5nvhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidates shall be governed by the CRPF Act 1949 and CRPF Rules 1955. Applications from candidates will be accepted through ONLINE MODE only. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.

CRPF Constable GD Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification:
Candidates should possess a matriculation or its equivalent certificate from a recognized board.
Sports Qualifications Required
Sportsperson of merit who have represented a State or the Country in any recognized National repute Games / National Championship (Both Junior & Senior) or International repute Championship conducted under the aegis of respective Federation / Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during last three years from 01/01/2021 to 31/12/2023.
Sportsperson of merit who have represented their University in All India Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) during last three years from 01/01/2021 to 31/12/2023.
Sportspersons of merit who have represented State School Team in National School Games conducted by School Games Federation of India(SGFD during last three years from 01/01/2021 to 31/12/2023.
Age limit:
Applicants’ age should be between 18 and 23 years.

CRPF Constable (GD) Selection process
The CRPF GD recruitment process consists of five distinct phases to evaluate candidates:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): The examination, featuring objective-type questions, assesses candidates’ proficiency in General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning, and Mathematics. Qualifying this test is essential for progression to subsequent stages.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The test includes running, jumping, and climbing. Specific criteria are established for both male and female candidates.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): The PST scrutinizes candidates’ physical attributes, encompassing height, weight, and chest girth, ensuring alignment with predetermined standards.
